Biography: Dr. Kopka has been at Towson University since 1993. In 2004, he traveled to Vietnam as a Fulbright Scholar where he taught entrepreneurship and business strategy to Vietnamese undergraduate students, worked on a program for strategic planning in state owned enterprises, offered a seminar to improve Vietnamese faculty English speaking skills, and researched skill development for a market economy. At Towson University, Dr. Kopka has taught Management Principles, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, Introduction to International Business, and Business Strategy and Policy. From 1999 to 2003 he was Director of the Cornerstone-Professional Experience Program. He also served as faculty advisor for the award winning Towson University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team from 1997 to 2001.
